This is Hazlet Township’s friendliest day, held at Veterans Park. A multitude of stands are set up along walking paths, showcasing community groups, clubs, local merchants and services. Saturday, Sept. 28 is a good time to meet your neighbors and learn more about the benefits of living in 07730.
Candidates running for political office will be present at the Hazlet Democratic and Republican party tents to talk about their priorities. New this year will be representatives of Hazlet’s Township elected government, available to answer questions, just outside Town Hall.
The Hazlet Business Owners Association has a table. The newly revitalized organization welcomes new members and can tell residents about local vendors.
Food trucks will also be on busy, and as always there will be free rides and activities for the kids. To learn about more opportunities throughout the year, including the summer camp, visit Hazlet Recreation’s table.
Plenty of sunshine predicted for today, with a high of 85. Bring your sunglasses! Parking is in the pool club parking lot, accessible from Green Acres Drive, off Middle Road.
