Two Hours From Hazlet: Cullen Center Seniors Plan Getaways

The Cullen Center Seniors of Hazlet are organizing three interesting trips this fall that are about two or two-and-a-half hours from home. The group wants all to know the mini-vacations are open to people of all ages. Families are welcome.

September 18-19, 2019

Silver Birches on Lake Wallenpaupack, in Hawley, Pennsylvania. An Italian Fest lunch and show followed by a ride to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for an overnight stay.$40 slot play and a $25 food voucher. Then a stop on the way home to Peddler’s Village.

October 7-11, 2019

A week at the Rocking Horse Resort in Highland, New York. Three meals a day, daytime activities, hay rides, shuffleboard, bocci, indoor pool, free coffee and cake all day, bingo, contests, horseback riding. Happy Hour. All inclusive. Motor transportation included.

November 7-8, 2019

Overnight trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Two holiday shows. “The Miracle of Christmas” at Sight & Sound and “Joy to the World” at the American Music Theater. One night’s lodging, breakfast, dinner and shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village and Tanger Outlets. Motor transportation included.
