Gift Wrap Brigade Returns to Hazlet

Following the festive kickoff to the holiday season at elegant Jacques on Friday night attended by 400 local supporters, the unstoppable RAINE Foundation begins a marathon of gift-wrapping for its annual toy drive. Volunteers will wrap thousands of donated gifts so that Santa can deliver the presents to families who could use a little sparkle this season. It works every time. Want to help? Just come – with scissors, tape and gift wrap if you can. The location is the former Frank’s Nursery at 2931 Route 35, next to Lidl. Ray Catena, the owner of the building, has prepped the empty building with heating and plumbing especially for the RAINE army. Wear something comfortable, you may choose to do your work on the floor. Kids can earn service hours. The hours are Dec. 12-19 from 5-9 p.m. (Weekend hours may be adjusted, depending on progress.) For more information visit the RAINE Foundation Facebook page
